Excellent place. We had appetizers (including delicious albacore fins), ramen, sushi. Everything was very tasty. Service was little spotty since they had two waiters being trained. But the owner made it all right. Will def come back when in the area.

Food Sucks. and expensive.Benton is frozen food (Frozen meet and heated it up)Ramen tastes Salty and it is definitely NOT Japan ramen I know.California Roll only contains crab meat stick and a little bit of crackling and sauce...Not recommend. You can have better food in same price.

The sushi is DELICIOUS!! Authentic we could not stop eating after 4 roles we order a 5. If you have not tried it please do.

So, I was on vacation at the lake for 3 days, and went to dinner here my second night, the food was SO GOOD that I had to go back my last night, service its well above and beyond, the place its run by a husband and wife couple and they are just amazing at making people feel welcome and provide excellent service, if it's too busy it might take a few minutes to get your food, but believe me, the wait its very well worth it, portions are large so if you're not an eater I recommend thinking about sharing one dish. Also the place it's set up for karaoke if you're looking for a good night of fun and laughs just ask the hostess to find you a song or two. Enjoy!

Patience is a virtue. Get a reservation and be patient. SO worth the wait. Best take on Sushi ever. The vegetables underneath and the sauces are amazing.

They have good, not great, food. Excellent value. But they don't use heat!! I had to go back to my car to get another jacket!

The best sushi in Tahoe/Truckee/Reno !!! I can't believe I didn't try Doma sooner, it's a gem. The fish is super fresh, sushi is fantastic, and the family is great. I once got food to go and the woman greeted me and gave me miso soup to sip on solely because I had to wait a five minutes until my food was ready. It's authentic, clean, and friendly! Thank you Doma for bringing good, unique food to our community

So good!!! We come here often. Sushi rolls are huge, fish is extremely fresh. People complain that the service is slow. But really it's run by a sweet family who make excellent food. Be patient! Totally worth it.

Terrible service, expensive prices, low price quality, low price atmosphere with dirty fake flowers on table. Even had a cheap little fake electric plug-in fire in middle of room that didn't even give off heat.

Chef Thomas and Host Mia are the very best and so is their food. I was introduced to sushi in the mid 80's and have tried many places from San Francisco to New York over the years. DOMA is one of the two top places I experienced, the other has been extinct since the late 90"s. So blessed to have found this jewel relatively recently after being deprived for many years.Cold, get a layer or move to the tropics.Short of time, go to Safeway across the street.Any other silly complaints, just move on.

Food was decent but we had the worst service ever. Was there for 2 hours, watched all other tables be served and leave before us. Watched our food delivered to other tables. One order was forgotten. Also the restaurant was very cold. Do not go on a busy night.

My family visited this Shushi restaurant many times when we ski at Squaw this year. The food is very fresh. Sushi rolls are big (my child love the Aloha roll). Noodle soup is huge. I sometimes use it as the soup for the whole family plus my own dinner. The host and hostess are very kind, friendly. The place is easy to park car. It's a family business so suggest you make a reservation before go, in case they reserve the night to special group or occasion event.
